Submitting a Certificate of Appropriateness

The City of Dallas is making it even easier to do Permitting, Historic Preservation Applications, and other Planning & Development functions. DallasNow has launched.

❋ 2026 Landmark Review Deadlines

Be sure to get your CA in before the deadline for each month. It’s about a 6-week timeline for the full review process, although some CAs may move quicker if eligible for Staff Review.

Native Planting

Certain landscaping and hardscaping require approvals for the front yards in Winnetka Heights. The “rules” and guidance are outlined in the Winnetka Heights Ordinance.
